Better Late Than Never
Dan Miller wears his old-schoolness like a badge of honor, and occasionally whacks me in the head with that badge. Truth be told, he’s the cutting edge on the WSMV staff when it comes to blogging. Dan Miller’s Notebook has been a crowd pleaser for years now, and the rest of us are just catching up.
Sorry for the delay, folks. We’ve just gotten a few new blogs up and running, but we hope to make it up to you in the coming weeks and months.
On this blog, I’ll keep you updated on new and cool doings at Channel 4 and WSMV.COM, and try to share a few inside stories behind the stories generated by Middle Tennessee’s hardest-working news team.
Reporter Cara Kumari, whose cup always runeth over with story ideas at the legislature, will share some items that aren’t ready for TV primetime on her blog, and will have to find something to write about if and when the assembly ever adjourns.
Reporter Marc Stewart leads our Foreign Desk here at WSMV blogs. Don’t ask me how, but Marc managed to score one of six slots on a prestigious fellowship to South and North Korea. He was the only local television journalist chosen, and exactly no one in our newsroom is surprised. He’s filing blogs and video TV hand.
As we like to say here, we’re “Working 4 You,” so please feel free to post comments and suggestions so we can serve you better!
